Small Magics as a username and brand name came to Carly at some point in adolescence. Her previous usernames were undeniably dorky and had perfectly encapsulated her weeaboo heritage, so it was time to up the game.

Growing up watching Ghibli movies, along with being interested in photography and art, there was a fascination with the idea of the little things being the most important. Small, daily moments creating a lasting impression. Rays of sunshine through a window, friendly gestures, etc.
